Tuesday day, I watched the news before I took a shower and got ready for work.
I wanted to watch the weather.
It has been a certainly hot Summer and I wanted to see the weather forecast. I found out that it was going to be 95 degrees that day, and after I took a shower, I found an appropriate dress to keep myself and others cool and comfortable during the day at work… The whole office was certainly busy on that overheated and humid day. We had purchasers moving in and out of the building. The door was open frequently and the indoor air quality was less than ideal. It was extremely hot and humid. I tried to transfer our chair so I could suppose the flow of air from the A/C vent, then unfortunately, there are only 6 A/C air vents located on the second floor. After lunch, the indoor rapidly adjusting temperatures were ridiculously warm. That’s when the A/C broke down and stopped working. I could tell it was getting warmer and warmer, but then I heard a loud hissing sound and the A/C equipment stopped running. The office supervisor told almost everyone not to panic, but it was getting warmer and warmer by the minute, and she called the Heating and Air Conditioning service service, but they could not get to us until a few minutes later. We went without A/C all day, because the service repair could not repair the issue until the end of the day. It was overheated and miserable and I didn’t get much work done that afternoon. It would have made more sense to send almost everyone home early that day.
