I agreed to watch our parent’s home while they were away on getaway.
They were tied up to be gone for more than 2 weeks, so they wanted myself and others to live at the home and keep an eye on things.
Their cat and cat also needed attention while they were away, so I was glad to help them out. When I arrived, I observed that the home felt honestly comfortable. The weather was fantastic outside, which meant that I could open some doors and windows to let in a cool breeze. It felt wonderful, however unluckyly, I forgot to close everything up before going to bed. I woke up shivering and I was unable to get warm. Since I was sleepy, our first thought was to change the temperature control settings. When I found our parents’ temperature control, I observed that they had replaced to a smart temperature control. I didn’t know the first thing about working a smart temperature control, so I became honestly aggravated when I couldn’t get it to turn on. The screen kept saying that the temperature control was off, and no matter which button I pushed or how far the dial turned, it wouldn’t turn on. There was no way for myself and others to turn on the furnace, so as I was snuggling back into bed, I finally remembered that I’d left the doors and windows wide open! I ran back out into the main section and shut them instantaneously. It took awhile, however the home finally warmed up and I was able to fall back asleep.
