I’ve been trying to repair our air conditioning component for a few weeks now.
It started giving me trouble after I heard a hissing sound coming from the condenser unit.
I knew that sound wasn’t good, so I did our own research plus found a couple possible solutions. I ended up tightening the coils plus fan blade because that was what I thought was the greatest issue… Despite giving it our best efforts, it still didn’t repair the troubles I was having with our AC unit. Technically, the hissing sound disappeared, however then I began experiencing other troubles. In hindsight, I should have hired an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C worker, although I was convinced that I could do it myself plus save some money, after the hissing sounds disappeared, I went to change the air filter. I will confess that I was ashamed by how long I’d let our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system run separate from replacing the air filter, plus I had a nice think that it could be the reason our AC system malfunctioned. After I replaced the air filter, I waited for our AC component to start running smoothly again, however it never did. This is when I decided that I needed to hire an actual Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional to come handle things properly. I told the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional all about our attempts to repair the AC unit, but he wasn’t impressed. He ended up lecturing me about how I should have called him sooner, because I could have caused a lot of dire injure since I didn’t know anything about Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment.
