When my wife and I decided to buy a condo, she really wanted to find a place with a fireplace. She grew up in a house with a fireplace and she had a lot of fun memories from that time. We looked at lots of different condos, but we didn’t find anything with a fireplace that was in our price range. It’s hard to find a condo with a fireplace, and we struggled to find the right place. When my wife wanted to give up, I suggested an alternative solution. I researched a lot of options for fireplaces and I found a couple of electric heating units that look like a fireplace. They can be custom-made to look exactly like the apartment and our furnishings. The fireplace and electric heating unit can be made for a corner or the middle of a wall. I mentioned the electric heating unit to my wife and she was hesitant at first. After a couple of days and several hours of research, she finally came around to the idea. We found a lot of condos after we decided to change our list, and many of them were suitable for the electric fireplace that we viewed. After we found the right place, we measured all of the walls and found a suitable area for the fireplace. My wife and I chose the corner of the living room. After we purchased the machine, we found a contractor to hook everything up and make it look like it was part of the living room wall and decor. It was a great solution, and we ended up with a bigger place overall.
