Being able to order food for the kids was a godsend.

There is nothing worse than a home full of wild, screaming teenage women and not having the food in the home to make supper for them all. This is what happened to myself and Bill a month ago when our 12-year-old child Beth decided to have a sleepover on a Monday night, but unbeknownst to Bill and I, Beth had invited sixof her best friends to spend the night that night. Had Beth told us that she had invited so many of them over, we would’ve gone grocery shopping and picked up enough stuff for them to have for popcorn and for snacks the next afternoon. I wasn’t a glad camper when mothers started dropping off their children at our home at 6 PM. It seems this was the perfect opportunity for their moms and dads to sneak away from the home and not have to worry about their preteen and early teen daughters. When Bill and I started scouring the home for potato pretzels, popcorn, brownies and some other different items the women might want throughout the night, Bill discovered every one of us were out of a lot of different foods. One of the largest things that every one of us were lacking was supper items. I got up at 5 AM to the sound of young women screaming and yelling what’s for supper. Thanks to quick thinking on Bill’s side, every one of us came up with a plan. He called our local fast food store and inquired about ordering supper meals online. Both of us went online and ordered 12 whole meals. Being able to order supper meals online was quite self-explanatory, and Bill and I were able to get a small assortment of every type of supper sandwich they made.
