All of the other houses I bought were pretty straight forward when it came to the renovations. But then, I hit a snag with the Heating & Air Conditioning unit on this last house. I’m just a few years from retirement & I wanted to have something to do in retirement so I decided to start buying small starter homes, repair them up & turn them into rental units. This has been something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I’m not the sort who watched a few flipping shows on cable & decided to get into it. I’ve consistently been interested in lake lake house improvement. That is evidenced in our home. All the added value in that lake house comes directly from me. And I’ve also jumped in to help others on projects to further our experience when it came to household projects. I knew this would come in handy when I started buying these homes. I absolutely wasn’t all that interested about spending our retirement resting in the a/c of our living room. So I bought that first house. I was amazed by how well that how thing went. I was able to do everything however replace the Heating & Air Conditioning equipment. I have an Heating & Air Conditioning business neighbor who is doing these houses for me. It was easy with the others as well. I did all the inside stuff & the Heating & Air Conditioning business replaced the Heating & Air Conditioning equipment. But this last house, all of us ran into HVAC duct that was entirely not recoverable. So all of us had to make a change. But our Heating & Air Conditioning business came through with the ductless multi split system.
