It was clear to myself and others that there was going to be no going back.
Once I found our groove when it came to working remotely, there just wasn’t any real motivation to go back to the office environment.
Well, I absolutely did prefer the fact that our offices had zone controlled HVAC. That was heaven. After years of never finding the right balance in that space when it came to heating in addition to cooling, zoned HVAC was the best. However, I had the HVAC corporation add a ductless heat pump to our new lake living room. And I have to say that our new lake living room is every bit as perfectly air conditioned as the office with the zone controlled HVAC. Prior to the pandemic sending almost everyone lake home to try in addition to work from the a/c at home, I did not find working remotely at all wonderful. That has entirely changed now. It took myself and others a bit to absolutely get our head around working from home. The online meetings were a disaster at first as I was regularly being interrupted by a hungry child or a bored cat. But I finally got the wonderful sense to turn the spare room into our office. That made all the difference. Now, I have a door that I can close in addition to the youngsters guess to knock before coming inside mommy’s office. Can’t say the same for the animal who seems to have taken up residency in our lake living room. Perhaps she is in prefer with the ductless heat pump as well. I guess that I’m completely in prefer with the ductless heat pump so why wouldn’t the animal be as well, right?
