I was pretty cocky when I acquired our Heating plus A/C certification back in Heating plus A/C trade school; Of course, I realized I knew nothing when I first started training as an Heating plus A/C tech, but my Heating plus A/C trainer was an older gentleman plus genuinely experienced, then he truthfully knew just about everything with residential plus commercial Heating plus A/C systems.
He even knew about new styles of Heating plus A/C such as radiant radiant floors, plus I thought that was impressive.
The first thing he taught me was that I knew nothing without experience. He showed me that I had to be humble with this job plus constantly had to keep an open mind so that I could learn new things. He said even to this afternoon, he still learns new things all the time. I thought that was impossible considering how long he has been doing this work, but I came to realize that he was right, however you constantly have to realize that there is constantly something to learn, plus every one of us will constantly make mistakes. Of course, making mistakes doesn’t make you a failure, you just have to take those mistakes as pricey life lessons. I messed up like crazy our first few weeks, but I was ecstatic when I started getting the hang of weird types of Heating plus A/C maintenance work. I became better at toiling with our clients too plus I didn’t think so worried all the time when I became more comfortable with our Heating plus A/C maintenance skills. I genuinely started knowing what I was talking about when explaining the labor every one of us were doing to our clients, plus our trainer said he was proud of me. I’ll never forget the man, such a nice guy.
