The long-awaited day had finally arrived.
It may sound a little juvenile but I was so excited about the new quality HVAC equipment that was going to be installed that day.
If you have never been in a house with no form of heating in the dead of a crazy winter you will have no idea why I was ecstatic about that day. Life had not been too kind growing up but things had finally taken a positive turn. When it comes to whole-home heating, the heating industry has a lot to offer from electric power, gas oil, and even more environmentally friendly ones such as the ones that are solar-powered. I had consulted various heating corporations and concluded that a dual fuel system would be the best HVAC system for my new home. In a bid to help with indoor comfort, this hybrid system (according to the heating provider) had an electric heat pump and a gas boiler. I was conversant with a boiler installation but the other one was new to me. The heating dealer and his crew were all set to install the unit. They would also connect the system to a digital thermostat that I could access remotely via an application on my phone. The professional had advised me that once the system was installed I was to schedule an annual heating tune-up. This type of heating service ensures that the heating and cooling system runs at optimum which will ensure that it is energy efficient. It also prolongs the lifespan of the equipment and prevents breakdowns. This was going to be the beginning of a new and beautiful chapter in my life and those of my loved ones.
