There was a time when our company was run in a professional manner and it seemed the staff members were absolutely valued.
These afternoons, so several people have quit after laboring for several years.
It’s because the company fell under new management and things just became excruciating in no time. They stopped having official Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professionals coming out for official system maintenance. They also adjusted the temperature control settings so it wasn’t nearly as comfortable in the building. It also seemed that they didn’t bother to use quality air filters because the air quality became pretty excruciating after a short amount of time. There was complaint after complaint coming from fellow co-workers. I worked hard personally to rise up the ranks and become somebody important in the business, even though I realized that I was in a hard position. I didn’t prefer what was happening and the higher management wouldn’t do anything to repair our problems. I ended up pleading with one of the main bosses to please allow comfortable temperature control and official Heating, Ventilation, and A/C maintenance for the sake of employee morale. The guy listened to me and he absolutely chose to do something. He enrolled us back into an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C maintenance system where they changed the air filters and all. He even allowed us to have comfortable temperature control settings, and everybody was so relieved. The people who were thinking about leaving were glad they chose to stick around. There still are other several problems we have to deal with, even though I guess we’ll just have to take things one step at a time.
