There was so much bad that came out of this pandemic. For 1, it feels love it will never end. Thankfully, there are vaccines now so it’s not quite as disturbing as it was in 2020. That was an bad feeling. I am immunocompromised due to genetic health condition. So it was absolutely pressing that I follow all the protocols & stay inside the a/c of our home. I absolutely never left the safety of our own heating & cooling except to get groceries. And even then, I made sure that I went as soon as the store opened in order to miss the crowds. But 1 wonderful thing that came from all that time at lake lake house was that I finally completed a project that has been a longtime dream. I’ve consistently wanted to have a guy cave. I have friends who all have these elaborate setups for hanging out with buddies. I wanted 1 for myself & it was just consistently way down on the priority list. Well, with nothing else to do however work in the a/c, I took the time to start putting together our guy cave. I cleared out space in the basement first. From there, I had our sibling help myself and others erects some interior walls. The people I was with and I also found a ping pong table & a pool table online that were used & inlavish. Then all of us hung a nice flat screen & built a bit of a bar as well. The crowing glory was having the Heating & Air Conditioning supplier come out to install a ductless mini split in our current guy cave. I couldn’t be more pleased with how this guy cave turned out.
