Flipping houses can bring big rewards & headaches

When my partner & I got married, the people I was with and I bought our first house, however it was a small two dining room bungalow with 850 square feet.

  • It was a prime piece of real estate due to the location! The beach house was really close to the beach & only a couple of miles away from the nightlife & activities… My partner & I fixed up that place & it looked good when the people I was with and I were getting ready to sell… All of us had a lot of fun fixing up the house, so the people I was with and I decided to buy another beach house that needed to be remodeled.

That was the start of our beach house flipping business. My partner & I now own 8 pieces of property. Three houses are currently on the market, two of the houses are currently in remodel status, & the other beach house is the place where my partner & I currently live! Flipping houses is a lot of fun. My partner & I have really l received a lot since the people I was with and I began our journey. All of us handle a lot of the work on our own, however the people I was with and I leave the pressing stuff to licensed & certified companys. All of us always use a licensed & certified company to handle the plumbing, electrical, & Heating & Air Conditioning work. It’s pressing to use a certified expert when handling these systems inside of the house, one false transport can mean thoUSAnds of dollars of disfigures & that is money I would rather spend on furnishings like cabinetry, countertops, & fixtures. The more money the people I was with and I have left in our budget for extras, the more likely the people I was with and I are to get full asking price for the property when it is done.
