My girlfriend may have left me two months ago but my trusty old space heater is always there by my side.
I don’t know how many space heaters I have owned in my life but I’m sure it is less than the number of girlfriends who have deserted me. It’s all good though, we are here to share time and experiences with others who enter our lives and then they move on in one way or another. I need to look at my electric heating system today and make sure the ductwork is clean because I have noticed there is reduced air flow, but I have cleaned all of the filters, so it must be the ducts. I have some time this week because the weather is pretty rainy out there so there is not much to do but stay inside and try to be productive. I have a high quality electric heating system but it still needs to be maintained regularly and I don’t have a lot of money to call an HVAC specialist at the time so I will have to do it myself. I am pretty proficient at doing it though because my dad was a contractor and taught me a lot about fixing things around the house. I actually worked for an HVAC company for a while doing installations and repairs until I changed paths and became a comedian and a skydiver. I quit skydiving when on one of my jumps I almost hit the ground, my parachute opened two seconds before impact, and this is the truth.
