I like to relax on Mondays and just work half a day.
The rest of the day I like to sit by my fireplace and read a good book about the oceans.
I like books about storms at sea and survival in cold weather like the Arctic Circle. I have an electric furnace but some days I just like to get a nice fire going and enjoy my fireplace, which I installed myself a few years ago. It’s not that I work much on the other days either as I have been semi-retired since 1999 when I turned 32. I used to be an engineer building circuit boards for HVAC equipment but I grew tired of the fast pace and the sterile office environment so I set off on my own. It was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I still do some work on my air conditioner and heater since I know how they operate and am good at fixing things but now, instead of spending all day inside a factory building, I spend most of my time on the beach or near it. I like to live close to the beach so I can ride my bike there in a few minutes and get my beach vibe on. I need to get an air purifier for my cat’s litter box room because it can smell pretty bad sometimes. I like those ozone type purifiers because they seem to take smells from the air pretty quickly. I’ll let you know how it goes.
