I think I may buy a small boogie board for riding the waves as we have been getting some monstrous swells recently.
I am no surfer but I think I can ride a boogie board, which doesn’t require you to stand up on it.
I think the shoulder movements would not be good for my shoulders as they have been dislocating quite a lot the past couple of years. My one friend who surfs said he dislocated his shoulder surfing last year which is quite scary seeing it is impossible to swim like that. Luckily he had his surfboard. The local business which sells surfboards also has smaller boards for people like me who just want to ride the tunnels. I’ve never been inside the tunnel of a wave and for just once want to know what it feels like. There is a new contractor who teaches boogie board tricks and I may take one of his classes. I could also swap one of his classes for one of my volleyball classes so I get it for free. We do a lot of bartering in this town with a lot of the local businesses. I also need to get a heat pump for my HVAC system because I think mine is fried. It doesn’t heat the flat up like it used to so I think it is time for a replacement. I would like to get a geothermal heat pump so I can save some money on my power bills. They have raised the rates a lot, so any kind of savings would help.
