I knew that not all the people trusted people, even if they were in a uniform.
Even after showing some people your identification, they are still skeptical about letting you into their house.
I tried to explain to the guy that I was from the Heating & A/C dealer, although he didn’t want to hear it. I had my picture ID on my shirt collar, although he didn’t want to look at it. The guy pulled out a gun & told myself and others to get off his property. I called the Heating & A/C business I worked for & told them about the behavior of the man. One of the other Heating & A/C contractors knew who I was referring to & he headed out to the condo to introduce me. When the other Heating & A/C contractor showed up, the guy became a bit more self-explanatory to talk to, although he still wasn’t glad to see myself and others at his house. He talked to MIke who introduced myself and others & said I was 1 of the modern Heating & A/C contractors in the dealer. He talked the guy into putting his gun away. The ancient guy laughed & showed Mike his gun & said he couldn’t have hurt myself and others with it even if he wanted to. He pulled the trigger & a long dstream of water poured out of the barrel. After laughing about the look on my face when I saw the gun, he shook my hand & apologized. He said it was his way of letting people know that he wasn’t someone you could take fortune of. Lucky for him, I didn’t call the police when I first saw the gun.
