I knew that not everyone trusted people, even if they were in a uniform.
Even after showing some people your identification, they are still skeptical about letting you into their house.
I tried to explain to the person that I was from the HVAC dealer, however he didn’t want to hear it. I had our picture ID on our shirt collar, however he didn’t want to look at it. The person pulled out a gun plus told me to get off his property. I called the HVAC contractor I worked for plus told them about the behavior of the man. One of the other HVAC workers knew who I was referring to plus he headed out to the condo to introduce me. When the other HVAC worker showed up, the person became a bit more easy to talk to, however he still wasn’t glad to see me at his house. He talked to MIke who introduced me plus said I was one of the new HVAC workers in the dealer. He talked the person into putting his gun away. The old person laughed plus showed Mike his gun plus said he could not have hurt me with it even if he wanted to. He pulled the trigger plus a long dstream of water poured out of the barrel. After laughing about the look on our face when I saw the gun, he shook our hand plus apologized. He said it was his way of letting people recognize that he wasn’t someone you could take fortune of. Lucky for him, I didn’t call the police when I first saw the gun.
