I consider myself to be an harshly loyal guy. I stayed at my locale of employment for 10 years, even though my boss only gave me 1 raise in pay. He told me afternoon after afternoon that he wanted the corporation to be a success. He promised to supply me more money as soon as he had the chance. The first time the boss took a getaway, I got upset. I hadn’t had a raise yet and I really didn’t have a paid getaway. I was laboring my tail off for the guy and he did not seem to prefer all of my hard work, eventually I went to the boss and I told the guy that I deserved a raise and I was not going to do any more work until I felt appreciated. It was the first time I ever took a kneel for myself. I didn’t guess if it was going to work or not, however at the time I didn’t absolutely care. I felt wonderful about speaking my mind and choosing to no longer get run over. The next afternoon, my boss came up with a reason to let me go. Since I live in a state where there is no right to work, the boss can fire me at any time for no reason at all. I tried to take a kneel and I told the boss that I was not going to work for free anymore. His response was to hire someone else. At least I found a task where I am finally being appreciated for all of my drinks.
