I heard a genuinely strange and weird sound coming from the air duct in my entryway. At first I thought it was normal cracking and creaking, however then the noises sounded more prefer an animal. I thought there could be a complication with mice, however the complication was really coming from the air duct, so I contacted the local Heating plus A/C Center. I wanted to set up an appointment for the next day, however the Heating plus A/C provider was stressed and did not have any available appointments until the afternoon. The guy on the iphone was genuinely nice and accommodating, so I made the appointment. I did contact a couple of different Heating plus A/C providers, however none of them could get to me any earlier, so I kept the appointment with the corporation that I knew and trusted. I waited all afternoon before the contractor arrived and it was absolutely after 3 when the guy showed up. He right away went into the attic so he could look at the condition of the air duct. He did not know that the noises were coming from any animals. He did not find evidence of rats, mice, or even insects inside of the air duct. There were some sites where the air duct needed to be relinked, and the repair contractor felt that was the reason why I heard the strange sounds in the middle of the night. He assured me that the same sounds were really happening during the afternoon, but I only heard them at night when everything else in the beach house was quiet. The repairs to the air duct were reasonably priced and I have not heard any sounds at all since the repairs were made.
