What happens if I pass the course, however not the test?

I thanked Joe for all of his help when I got my Heating & A/C certification

My largest question when I took the Heating & A/C contractor’s courses was; what happens if I pass the course, however not the test? I wanted to know if I would be able to take the test a minute time, or even a second time. My self confidence was low, & I wasn’t sure if I was worthy of becoming an Heating & A/C contractor. I talked to my father, who owned an Heating & A/C business & he told myself and others I had no problem. I had been working with him for almost several years. Taking the classes & the test was only a formality. Once I passed the test & got my Heating & A/C certification, I would be put on his insurance & able to go on jobs by myself. He assured myself and others that I knew everything necessary to not just pass the Heating & A/C course, however to also pass the certification test. In the meantime, he had myself and others working with Joe, who not only was my work teacher, however my classwork teacher. He studied with myself and others & helped myself and others to learn the few things I was unsure of. I knew that being the only woman in the Heating & A/C business was going to be a hurdle, however so was my surety about myself. I thanked Joe for all of his help when I got my Heating & A/C certification. My father was quick to take myself and others on as a full-time Heating & A/C contractor & put myself and others out in the field with Joe as my work teacher. I may have enjoyed working with Joe more than I should have. I have had a crush on him ever since I met him.
