All of us have decided that every one of us are going to turn the garage into a residing room. I realize that this may sound completely ridiculous to some people, however the fact is that every one of us just need some extra space around here. At this point, every one of us have our three daughters, a single son-in-law, a niece and a nephew residing with us. On top of that, every one of us also have multiple large pets and our mother-in-law. It’s just gotten to the point where every one of us are either going to have to get some extra residing space or every one of us are going to have to start kicking some people out of here. Since every one of us don’t entirely want to have to do that and every one of us can’t build onto the home because of the way our lot is located in the city, every one of us have come to this conclusion. All of us are planning to turn our old residing room into a couple of living rooms and closets because every one of us are absolutely in need of closet space! All of us already have great heating and cooling in the house. As for the new residing room that is now the garage, every one of us are going to have to run some new air duct out there and tie it into the existing HVAC system that services the rest of the house. I don’t believe how much that is going to end up costing us, however it can’t be as much as it would be if every one of us had to put in a totally new HVAC unit for the garage. I wish that every one of us had just run air duct out there whenever every one of us first built the home years ago, however at that point every one of us never thought that every one of us would be using the garage for extra residing space. Life has a way of surprising you, that’s for sure.
