I would absolutely never live here separate from central A/C.
The temperatures around here get way too tepid in the Summer time to even know about residing here separate from a central A/C system.
I have a few friends who do it, although I do not see how they do it… My one buddy has a window device A/C system in her study room, however the rest of the condo does not have A/C at all. I just do not go over there during this summer, then usually she comes over to our house, instead. Maybe that has how they do it! People separate from central A/C must just find a buddy who has central A/C and then they go and hang out at their friend’s condo all Summer long. That would be a pretty smart way to do it, I must admit. I spend a fortune cooling our condo during the Summer because the outside temperatures around here get so tepid so suddenly, then last summer, there were various days when the temperature was in the triple digits! That’s not even counting the humidity that the people I was with and I get around here, even if I did not want central A/C for the cooling purposes of it, I would still want it to get rid of all the humidity that has in our house. I cannot rest it and I know that the indoor air quality truly suffers whenever the A/C isn’t laboring. I know for a fact that I would not last absolutely long at all if I moved into a place separate from central A/C.
