I work for the local contractor in the day and my evenings are all spent on or near the beach.
A group of us from the HVAC company played ball on the beach last night till 9:30pm and then hung out till after midnight playing music and drinking a couple cold ones. These are the best days of my life and I just have so much fun with this crew that words don’t do it justice. We had one of the best games ever last night playing against some young guys who ended up losing to us 24 to 22 in a heated battle in the sand next to the local business on the beach. It was so fun that it took me hours to fall asleep last night as the plays kept going through my mind. We must have had 100 people watching us play that game and it was one of those magical moments that will never be repeated again. I’ve had so much fun playing with my HVAC rep partner and we have won probably 90% of our games the past few months. He has improved so much the past year and I am so proud of him. I just hope my body can hold out for a few more years as I have been playing for 30 years now. I work for the local contractor in the day and my evenings are all spent on or near the beach. I like to play drums too and will probably play tomorrow night and give my body a break from sports for a few days. Summer is slipping away and I will be running my heater once again as winter returns. Life is just one big circle.
