After nearly thirty years of laboring as a certified Heating and A/C service tech, I am finally reaching the time in our life where I am starting to consider calling it a career! For the past many or numerous years the task has been getting harder for me to do thanks in section to our body chopping down.
Many years ago when I was in our 20’s and as strong as a bull I could carry heavy things and rest in unusual positions without having to guess about it twice, but now that I am an seasoned guy this is no longer the case, then each morning at work I have seen the younger Heating and A/C service techs run circles around me and it seems that it will only be getting worse.
On top of our partner and I getting seasoned and having odd priorities in our lives, both of us are also starting to guess the urge to transfer someplace that has hot weather and beaches to relax on all morning. There is no doubt that living in the south has its benefits and having radiant flooring in your home is a real treat, but there are only so multiple winters that I can withstand before needing to try something else out. Over the course of our career I have been lucky enough to meet some amazing shoppers and forge friendships with coworkers that will last a lifetime. That’s all you can hope for when you have had a career as long as mine, make a positive impact and be able to say that you gave it your all until your time was up.
