There is always so much to do with so little time when it comes to household chores. Laundry never ends, appliances break, and dirty dishes constantly pile up in the sink. I try my best to keep on top of things so that I do not have to worry about any more stress than I deal with on a daily basis. However, the one time I was actually prepared and responsible ended up being a complete disaster. In my house, I knew the HVAC system would need to be updated. We had no problems with the system, but it was ready to be updated and I’d rather be safe than sorry. I called an HVAC company and spent weeks looking over new HVAC units for our home. When I finally made a decision on a new system, the HVAC company scheduled a delivery for the following week. The installation of the heating and cooling system took no more than a few hours and our new HVAC system was ready to run that day. With the price I paid for the new system, I was sure the system would last. Just a week later, I found out that the HVAC system I installed was not the proper one for our house size. After a day of running, the entire HVAC system broke down on me. I had to call another HVAC company to completely remove and replace the heating and cooling system. Little did I know that our old HVAC system was in good enough shape and could have lasted us another five years with the proper HVAC maintenance.
