So long to one HVAC and hello to a new chapter in HVAC comfort

The kids will all be leaving for school in the next couple of years.

Our first one left this year.

Wow, they say you can’t prepare for that as a parent and dang if they aren’t right. My oldest is a young woman who has her head on straight and is the least of my worries. And yet, I came fairly unglued as she prepared to leave the nest. When we got to her dorm room, the first thing I noticed was they had individual HVAC thermostats. That was a long way from the radiator I couldn’t control back in my day. Even as I did my best to keep myself distracted, I could feel myself coming unglued as the time for parents to leave arrived. It was ugly. So, I hope that the next two will go easier. My wife and I have decided to sort of go with this change. We decided when the last one heads off, we are going to turn the page as well. The great big house just doesn’t make sense without a family to fill it. We are going to sell and buy something much more practical and easier to take care of. With that in mind, we are planning to replace the HVAC unit. We understand that a new, technologically advanced HVAC unit is a must when selling a house. The rest of the house was updated over the last couple of years. It will be tough to see that awesome HVAC which has been with us for almost 20 years go away. But, like much of our lives, there is a great deal of change happening. And we are just going to embrace it.
