My girlfriend and I don't agree on the indoor temperature

I love being able to spend all night with my girlfriend. I love waking up with her in my bed and in my arms. I love watching movies in our bed and laughing at the news. We decided to move into my apartment together last month and things have been bumpy. We are the best of friends and we always have a lot of fun together. Our biggest issue is the indoor temperatures. My girlfriend and I don’t agree on the indoor temperature. Before she moved into my apartment, I consistently kept the thermostat setting on 68 degrees. It did not matter if it was summer, winter, spring, or fall. I liked to keep the temperature regulated at 68° which is the absolute perfect temperature. My girlfriend does not agree with my pattern of thought. For the first week that we live together, she complained about the indoor temperatures every day. She tried to change the temperature, but I have a programmable thermostat and she could not figure out how to use the machine. During our second week together, she complained and complained until I finally decided to adjust the temperature. I decided to agree to keep the thermostat set for 70. I thought it would make my girlfriend happy, but we are still continually arguing about the indoor temperatures. She still thinks that 70° is way too cold. I’m almost breaking a sweat in the middle of the night, so I’m not sure how we will be able to find a compromise. I want both of us to be comfortable and happy.
