Each year, I make a point of taking on some extreme Spring cleaning.
This has been a ritual for me since I was a kid.
My Dad would be so ecstatic that the boiler was off plus she could open the doors plus windows that she welcomed Spring cleaning. I guess that is the perspective that seemed to rub off on me. However, I live in an section where the heat pump hardly has to come on for Heating plus A/C heating in the summer. But we more than make up for this the rest of the year with air conditioning system. It’s hot here plus we have to have Heating plus A/C cooling just to manage the heat plus humidity. So prior to the air conditioning system coming on for the duration, I’ve always done 2 things each early Spring. I have the Heating plus A/C worker come out to do the air conditioning system tune-up plus I do a absolutely extreme Spring cleaning. Like, I take a Sunday plus Monday off to wash for numerous days straight. But it’s always worth it. However, after all the time we spent cooped up in the air conditioning system while we were in the 2020, I went a step further last Spring. I had the Heating plus A/C company do the HVAC duct cleaning plus HVAC duct resealing as section of my Spring cleaning efforts. And was that ever a great idea. The two of us hadn’t had the HVAC duct cleaned prior to that plus we’ve been in this apartment almost 10 years. So HVAC duct cleaning was overdue for sure. Still, it genuinely was just the cherry on top when it came having my apartment as wash as it’s ever been last Spring cleaning.
