I don’t assume why, but I always had a listening complication as a youngster. My father would always tell me to change the air filter for the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system. This is something that became a chore of mine and I wasn’t so gleeful about doing the air filter swings. It was mainly because I didn’t love going into the basement where the Heating as well as Air Conditioning component was. There were spiders down there and it was dark and damp. My father always explained that it was something I had to learn for the future when I lived on our own. So I became pretty great at decreasing the air filters. When I first got our car, he taught me how to change the oil and said I needed to do this all the time. It was every 3,000 miles back then, however it was something I didn’t worry about nearly enough. I ended up driving our car way past the 3,000 mark and I ended up locking up our engine. It’s funny because I was more concerned about the air conditioning system working in our car than decreasing the oil. It took that hard lesson for me to learn that if you don’t change the oil, you’ll have nothing, let alone a working temperature control system. I took great care of our next car after I saved up cash for so long to buy something else. Now I have a child of our own and he’s just as stubborn as I was when I was young. I’m guessing he’s going to make all the same mistakes I did, but I hope I can get him to listen when it’s substantial.
