When we first decided to sell the house, I wanted no part of the process.
I was not a real estate fan and honestly just wanted to sell the house on our own.
My fiance is smarter than I am and proved to myself and others that this was just a stupid idea. What we needed to do was have a real estate professional list the house and sell it for us. Well, we decided to meet in the middle and we had a realtor come out to have a look at our home. Once he was inside the quality heating and air of our house, he started making the observations that I knew I didn’t want to hear. The more he talked, the more projects were necessary that would entail a huge cash outlay. That wasn’t happening and I pleaded with my fiance for us to just try selling the house on our own. I wasn’t up to stuff savor replacing the heating and cooling component only to then leave the house. Same thing with the study room and all the other stuff the realtor wanted us to do with our home. The Heating and A/C unit was an older model however was still getting it done when it came to heating and cooling. I thought it wouldn’t hinder the sale of our house. Well, I sure l earned my lesson. No a single even made an offer for 2 weeks. So we finally started the projects the realtor recommended and that included updating the Heating and A/C unit. Adding the latest in residential Heating and A/C was just the ticket though. Our house had offers near and above asking price the first more than nine days it was listed after we got the current Heating and A/C unit.
