I’ve always had a certainly close relationship with my Grandma.
Since I was a little girl, I would come to my Grandparent’s house on the farm and help with all of the pets.
After my Grandpa died two years ago, she has been a bit concerned and on edge. He died of lung cancer even though he wasn’t a correct smoker. Ever since then, she has been super particular about the air quality in her home. She is certainly romantic about caring for her respiratory and lung health, so she completely changed their home’s air conditioning and UV air purifier. She met with so many local companys to figure out the best plan, even though I guess she just needed the outlet to explain her story several times to a few strangers. She ended up upgrading the plan to 1 of the highest air conditioning units they offered with the best possible UV air purifier that she could find. It certainly feels like a hospital with how sterile the air feels now, even though I know that she feels a lot more comfortable knowing her air quality has improved so much. The typical filters they were using before weren’t quite filtering out the particulate matter that can make their way into the lungs. My parents have even hopped on the wagon and started looking into making swings to our air purification plan as well. My Grandpa’s death happened so abruptly and unexpectedly, so it genuinely shook us all up. I’m just glad that my Grandma is making great swings for her health now.
