I have never had any issues at all in the household until recently.
I heard some unusual noises coming from the attic. I told my sister about the noises, but she thought I was going crazy. She came to the household a single day for supper and we did not hear anything the whole time. She thought I was going crazy for sure, although I swore to her that I heard unusual sounds coming from the attic and the ductwork. When I had a tune-up performed on the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device, I told the maintenance contractor that I was hearing sounds in the attic, but she agreed to check on the ductwork to see if there were any serious issues. Of course, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C contractor found a few weird problems. I had loose ductwork in the Attic. It was making sounds every time the A/C component came on. That could have been the source of the sound that I actually heard, but it also could have been any number of the mice that the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C contractor found as well. The woman told me that I needed an exterminator and she told me to call when I have the pest complication handled. She would come back and fix all of the problematic areas in the HVAC duct. The woman told me it was basically useless to fix the problems now, because the mice would just find a way back into the ductwork to cause more issues. I had to get rid of the infestation before the ductwork could be taken care of.
