Most people will quit a workout routine due to awful planning

I am baffled at the people who start out the year working out and then quit after a few weeks, then once you get into a routine, you should be able to maintain it, right? I’ve heard that it takes about 21 days to form a current habit or routine, but according to some experts it could take up to 254 days to develop.

And for that routine to become automatic, it would take an average of 66 days.

So, what does this mean? If you decide to start a current workout routine at the start of the year, if you make it past mid-May, you should be able to continue with that routine. But apparently, everyone who start a workout routine will quit after only a couple of weeks! Most of it is due to awful planning. For instance, if you would love to focus on health and wellness, the best thing for you to do is to get rid of all the unhealthy foods in your fridge and pantry. And update those foods with more fruits, veggies, and lean meats. In addition, if you work in an office, keep lots of healthy snacks at your desk. And skip on the donuts, bagels, and cookies that are regularly in the pop room. Lastly, meal prepping is a wonderful way to make sure that you stick to your health and wellness plan. Salads can be easily prepped as well as snacks between meals. And as for working out, you need to idea your afternoon accordingly. Be ready to wake up earlier or sacrifice something from your afternoon. Sounds easy enough, so let’s get healthy!
