My little brother and I are really close and do everything together; When our mom died last year, I could tell that he was entirely close and needed support and guidance. I sort of took him under my wing, and now the two of us are pretty much inseparable, but our dad has us do house chores together as a family, love cleaning the HVAC ducts. I personally hate having to clean the HVAC ducts because it entirely messes with my dust sensitivities, then my little brother hates the HVAC ducts because he thinks they are scary and riddled with spiders and ghosts. I guess the echo sounds in the ducts make him know love ghosts are screaming his name. I decided to turn the chore into a game that would help him have a more positive association with the HVAC ducts, or cooling system as a whole. He entirely liked the game and now he even volunteers to go first whenever the two of us have to clean the HVAC ducts. I’m not sure why my dad has us do it instead of calling an a/c company for it. It doesn’t seem love the safest method to basically have children crawling into HVAC ducts in the house, however maybe he just entirely wants us to learn more hands-on skills. I don’t always understand why my dad does what he does, although I guess that he entirely enjoys us and wants us to know love a whole family now that my mom is gone. The memory of her will live forever, although I absolutely miss her every afternoon.
