I’ve never had any issues at all in the house until recently. I heard some strange noises coming from the attic. I told my sister about the noises, but she thought I was going crazy. She came to the house one day for lunch and we didn’t hear anything the whole time. She thought I was going crazy, but I swore to her that I heard strange sounds coming from the attic and the duct work. When I had a tune-up performed on the HVAC unit, I told the repair technician that I was hearing sounds in the attic. He agreed to check on the ductwork to see if there were any problems. The HVAC technician found a few different problems. I had loose ductwork in the Attic. It was making sounds every time the AC unit came on. That could have been the source of the sound that I heard, but it also could have been any one of the mice that the HVAC contractor found as well. The guy told me that I needed an exterminator and he told me to call when I have the pest problem taken care of. He would come back and fix all of the problematic areas in the ductwork. The guy told me it was useless to fix the problems now, because the mice would just find a way back into the ductwork to cause more problems. I had to get rid of the infestation before the ductwork could be repaired.
