SEER ratings are important to pay attention to when buying an HVAC

I’m all about lowering the costs of monthly bills, so I am thinking of getting a higher SEER rating air conditioner

I just moved into a new house and there is so much work to do. I’m honestly feeling pretty overwhelmed by all of the different things I have to keep track of, so I have a good excel sheet to keep me on track. The thing that is probably keeping me up at night the most right now is the process of buying a new HVAC. I have never purchased an air conditioner in my life, and boy is it complicated. Not only are there many different types of air conditioning systems, but they all have different qualities. Not to mention installing an HVAC can be pretty expensive when you’re doing it all at once. I’ve been reading a bunch of blog and watching videos on things to consider when replacing your HVAC system, and I’ve been learning a bit about SEERS ratings. It’s basically an easy way to identify the efficiency of the air conditioner. The SEERS rating will basically tell you how much money in energy costs you would save with that option. Of course the options with the higher SEERS ratings are more expensive to get and install, but it may be worth it since the costs of maintaining it will be lower overtime. I’m all about lowering the costs of monthly bills, so I am thinking of getting a higher SEER rating air conditioner. Once I get that done, I have to move onto the crown and molding in the bedrooms, followed by the flooring. I think the flooring is going to be a huge nightmare because I am incredibly indecisive about what I want.
