My wife and I took our children to the amusement park last summer.
- The kids had time off school and we wanted to do something fun for summer vacation.
We took all of the kids to the amusement park for 3 days. We stayed in a resort hotel while we were there. When we first arrived at the hotel. We checked into our room and got settled. My wife was the first person to use the bathroom. She told me that the shower curtain was filled with mold. I called the front desk and the housekeeping staff came to replace the shower curtain with something that looks brand new. After the maid was gone, we decided to turn on the AC unit. It was starting to get warm and we were thinking about taking a nap before we went out to dinner. I turned on the air conditioner unit and the very first thing that I noticed was a small leak on the side of the machine. I couldn’t tell exactly what was leaking, but it was clearly coming from the AC unit. Once again, I contacted the front desk. This time I told them that the issue was with the AC unit. The front desk clerk did not hesitate to send someone up to the room to fix the problem. It was as if the guy knew that I was going to call to complain about something. It really made me wonder how many other rooms have problems and how frequently they don’t fix stuff before a customer moves into the room.
