I purchased a mini chop cooling system for my house after I saw such superb reviews about them online, however dIY options for that type of cooling system were cheaper than other models, so I thought I’d save money by skipping hiring a cooling tech.
I purchased the Heating, Ventilation & A/C component & installed it as the manual directed.
It failed more than five weeks into using what I was sure was a quality cooling system, but like every other customer, I rushed to the website where I’d bought the cooling component to share my complaint & seek information on what could be wrong after such a short while. The corporation’s purchaser representative assured myself and others they would send a cooling specialist to check on my cooling component within 24 hours. A week later, no cooling representative came to inspect the component or do any air conditioning repairs. I went back to the site, & there were more than four more comments from clients with similar complaints, however none had received any help from the corporation. The website has since been pulled down, although I have seen more people complain that there is an increase in scammers within the cooling industry! Given that I desperately needed an AC to help with indoor comfort throughout the year, I had to pay a visit to an actual cooling supplier for legit services. The experts at the supplier walked myself and others through several options & came around to inspect the scam component I’d purchased & installed, which they said was faulty. I had legitimately been sold to a reject or used separate from knowing. Anyway, I suppose more about air conditioning however would not dare to do it alone or advocate anyone to it separate from a certified expert’s input.
