I have always known that I wanted to one day travel the world and see all the different things there are to see.
What I didn’t know at the time is that the day I would be able to travel the world would come much sooner than I thought.
The first place I visited was the desert, it was so different from what I was used to. Everything was different but the culture and environment was the most notable. I was used to living in the northern part of the United States, and it can get pretty cold there. While I was there I also noticed how the temperature of the climate affected local businesses. Such as the HVAC companies. Here where I live, having a heater is more important than anything because of how quickly the temperatures can drop. You need a good and reliable heater to keep you warm through the cold. But in the hotter parts of the world, everything was backwards. Air conditioning was the most sold and used in those places. The people that lived there were used to living in the heat, although to me it felt as if I was standing inside of a furnace. The heat seemed never ending and I was constantly looking for the air conditioning to save me from the heat. Whenever I was lucky enough to sit directly under an air vent, it gave me a feeling like no other. At last I got to sit and feel the cool air soothe my hot and sweaty self. It really was a wonderful feeling.
