About a month ago when I was coming home from work, I noticed there was this window A/C unit next to a dumpster.
I went to go pick up the window A/C unit and there was also this cat hanging around.
He was hanging around that window A/C unit like he was waiting for it to turn on or something. When I picked up the window A/C unit, the cat was following me like he knew that I was going to get the thing working. He seemed to be a stray cat, so I let him come home with me. I didn’t have to pick him up or anything, he actually hopped in my car with me. When I got home, I cleaned out the window A/C unit really well and then I plugged it in. When the A/C came flowing from the window A/C unit, I was really enjoying the cool breeze. Even the cat jumped up to feel the cool air coming from the window A/C unit. Because this cat loved the air conditioning so much, I decided to call him Cooley. I figured if I saw any lost cat pictures, I would be quick to return him to his owners, but it seemed like he didn’t have anybody. He sure did enjoy the cooling system though. Even when I had the central HVAC running, he would relax next to the HVAC vents and take his naps. I got him his own cat bed and placed it next to the HVAC vent. I also got him a scratching post and some cat chow. Of course, I also made sure to get him a cat box so he could do his thing without going outside.
