I always enjoyed playing football and other sports.
I was a pretty good football player in my high school days, and I hoped that I would make it big with a sports career.
The thing is, I never even made it onto the college football team. The sad thing is, the only reason why I went to college was because I wanted to pursue my dream to play in the NFL. I realized if I couldn’t even get on the college team, I would likely never make it into playing professional football. I was depressed because of this and I ended up dropping out from college altogether. I did have a backup plan though. I talked with a good friend of mine who said he was going to an HVAC trade school to get his HVAC certification. So I decided to follow in his footsteps. I had a good feeling about the HVAC industry because he told me how HVAC technicians were in high demand. So I went through the school, but believe me when I say it was not easy. I was really happy when I eventually achieved my HVAC certification though. When I became an HVAC technician, I felt accomplished because I already had a career making pretty good money while most of my buddies were still in college. I guess the only things I’m upset about is the fact that I wasn’t able to play sports for a career, and I still have to pay back my student loans. Sometimes, I wish I could turn back the hands of time and do it all over again.
