Something that has always bugged the living heck out of me was the concept of window air conditioning systems. I had never understood why they couldn’t make window heating systems! You have the window air conditioning set up as it is with the thing half out of the window but securely in place. Why couldn’t they do the same thing for heating? If you live in an area that is old fashioned you are stuck dealing with gas furnaces. Which not only can that get to be a bit costly in terms of maintenance, but it can also be a major pain in the rear when something goes wrong with it. The heating and air conditioning companies around where I live actually charge more for a gas furnace repair than they would a central heating and air conditioning system! Window air conditioning units work so darn great to cool any room depending on the size of the window air conditioning unit. I am sure they could invent something just the same to take care of heating. Of course they do not even think of this because HVAC technology has advanced so far today that primitive forms of heating and air conditioning like window air conditioning units are obsolete in most areas that are up to date. It is just the old fashioned areas that still use window air conditioning units and gas furnaces as their form of heating and air conditioning. If I only had a time machine I would go back in time and try to invent a window heating unit like a window air conditioning unit!
