There should be HVAC for everyone and not just the managers.

I have a friend that works in a warehouse.

Up until I was talking to him, I didn’t know they had warehouses full of tires.

Have you ever looked at a warehouse? That is one heck of a lot of tires. He says there are large bins and floors full of different brands and types of tires. They house these tires and when stores and garages need a supply of tires, he sends them out. Two of this type of tire and twenty of another type of tires, and so on, are all loaded onto a truck and shipped out from this warehouse. I asked him how they keep a building that large, in heating and air conditioning. He told me it wasn’t possible. They had several offices and sitting rooms that were built into the building. They had air conditioning and heating. There was also a common area where the truck drivers and workers could sit and relax. I started questioning about the problem with having blowers that went crossways through the building. He said that with the doors open at all times so the trucks could drive through, it was more of a waste of money. With large building fans, the building is cool enough to be comfortable when the people are working in the warehouse. When they weren’t loading trucks, they had air conditioning in the sitting room or in the break room. I told him not to say anything in front of my wife. She liked to find causes that sounded like someone was unfair to workers. I didn’t want to listen to her railing about lack of air conditioning in the warehouse for the rest of the night.
