My last house had a central air conditioning machine, so I never needed to own a window air conditioning machine. When I moved into this residence, I had a pretty narrow budget, so I have been saving for a window air conditioning machine ever since I moved into this residence. I actually wanted a nicer window air conditioning machine, so I knew that it was going to take even longer to get my window air conditioning machine. After approximately a year of saving every extra penny that I could, I finally had enough currency for the window air conditioning machine. I was trying to go to the store that week, however because it was fall, I wasn’t in a hurry to get my new A/C machine. In a few weeks, the window air conditioning machines would go on sale, and I would be able to pick up something extra nice. However, I found out that a good friend of mine just ran into a serious problem. They just had to have major surgery, and they didn’t have health insurance. They are making an attempt to pay off their bill, however now, they cannot afford their rent. If they didn’t pay it within just a few days, they were going to lose their residence. They have some kids to look after also. Sure, I had enough currency for the window air conditioning machine, however I couldn’t let my good buddy become homeless. I thought it would be best to not purchase the window air conditioning machine, and I gave them the currency instead. The look on his face was totally worth skipping the air conditioning machine. I will be able to save the currency again for the air conditioning machine, however I might have never gotten that chance again to help my buddy.
