The air quality was wet like, even with the dehumidifier running all the time, and combine this with the high AC use & I was a frozen popsicle.
I recently went on a hiking trip with our friends. There were more than one rooms upstairs & a basement study room. I snagged the a single in the basement for privacy. I had our own bathroom & a large section to toil out in the days. The only thing that sucked was that I was at the mercy of our friends Heating, Ventilation & A/C settings. There was a single central Heating, Ventilation & A/C component & a single wall mounted thermostat. The thermostat was outside our neighbor Dayna’s room. She got to decide the heating & cooling due to proximity. My buddy unquestionably prefers AC since she gets warm easily, and being in a basement naturally means it is colder down there. The air quality was wet like, even with the dehumidifier running all the time, and combine this with the high AC use & I was a frozen popsicle. Anytime I went upstairs for water or to hang out, I was decreasing the thermostat. Dayna must have caught onto me though, everytime I would check the thermostat again, it was back to its super low setting. I had a unquestionably wonderful time hiking, hanging with our friends & I liked having our own room, but next time though, I will book an airbnb that has zone control & many thermostats throughout the house. Sharing a Heating, Ventilation & A/C component turned out to be a problem, who would have thought that air conditioning would be the thing that bothered me the whole trip? I don’t mind late evenings, messes on the floor, but too much cooling & I am an unhappy camper.
