I’m going to sell our portable a/c machine for a unusual kind of a/c system

I’m going to move back in with our parents for a few years. I have struggled to save money while paying exorbitant rental prices in our developing city. Since our Dad just broke her hip plus needs additional help around the house, our parents were eager for me to move back apartment for a while. I’d be residing in the sunroom with their more than one pets, which surprisingly has a lot of space compared to the typical study rooms in the house. Unfortunately, the sunroom doesn’t have an Heating in addition to Air Conditioning vent in its ceiling or wall, so they have had to use a portable a/c machine whenever they don’t just leave the sliding glass door open. If the door is left open, a steady modern of air gets in. At least it’s enough for the more than one pets, however if I wanted to ever shut the door for privacy, I’d need to use their portable a/c unit. The only problem is that this cooling method is fairly inefficient. This is the first time either of them has tried to use the portable a/c machine on a bi-weekly basis. The increase on their energy bill was much higher than any of us was expecting. I decided to look into buying a ductless mini cut a/c machine for the sunroom. It’s exactly what the name implies—just like typical central a/c units, these units feature a separated, or “split” connection between the warm plus chilly end of the refrigerant cycle. Unlike portable or window a/c units that have both components within one enclosure, ductless mini splits have condensers outside like a typical cut system. The other difference is there are no ducts, because they are put in whatever room they’re intended to cool. If you used them exclusively for a house, you’d be putting them in unusual rooms plus zones of the house.
