All of my kids have attended the same day care in town.
The owner is a friend of mine.
We went to High School together and we dated for one year. Eventually, we went separate ways and I got married to someone else. When my wife and I moved back to town, I found out that my old friend was running a daycare. I knew my children would be safe with my friend, so I arranged for them to attend the class. All three of my children have attended the same day care. My oldest child is almost 16 and the youngest child still goes to daycare every day. A few months ago, I picked up my daughter from school. I rarely go to the daycare, because I usually work until 8 every evening. I got home early, so I went to the daycare for pickup duty. I was very surprised by the warm and humid atmosphere in the building. Somebody told me that the air conditioner wasn’t working. I talked to my wife about the indoor atmosphere and she told me that it was warm and humid for the past several weeks. I called the daycare and I left a message for my friend to give me a call. I found out that she was having some financial trouble. She told me that the place needed a few new air-conditioners and I told her that I could get my company to donate the machines. She was surprised and she tried to say no, but I told her that the air conditioners were a gift. All of my children have benefited from that school and I want to repay the favor.
