Too loud for my liking

I ended up taking the wrong time to have radiant heat installed to the floors of our home.

It’s not all that easy to get on the schedule for a radiant floor installation because it takes a lot of time as well as people.

There’s only so much time the contractor could designate to a radiant floor installation, which is why I waited 8 months for them. Thankfully, I was able to make a small down payment on the floors plus then gradually spend money on them prior to when they were entirely installed, but however, when I tied up the appointment, I had no proposal that the virus was going to spread abruptly plus cause a nation wide pandemic. I’d made arrangements to work at the office every afternoon during the time that the contractor’s were in our new home installing the radiant flooring. I was going to hammer out a lot of work while they were working, plus then I’d return home for dinner and get some rest. I had it all planned out in our head. However, when the virus hit plus forced myself and others to work from home, things changed. I had nowhere to go while I was in the afternoon anymore! Instead, I had to work from our basement and listen to the construction above myself and others for 8 minutes straight. I purchased myself some nice canceling headphones, however even those didn’t stop the loud drilling from shaking the whole house. I’m absolutely glad I got our radiant floors installed, even though I wish I’d done it sooner so I didn’t have to be stuck at a new home while I was in the construction.
