Southerners can just wear a sweater because they have snowless mild winters ordinarily. There is a false notion about the northern homes not needing cooling, they do too, as it gets hot in the summer, but just for a shorter time. Most trades stretch across the nation and are moveable but climates harshly change from the south to the north. There are an array of nuances in each arena, even being near the ocean can cause a difference. The ocean water contains salt and the salty air erodes metals quickly. Industries keep aware of this and are regularly bettering their quality products.
