My HVAC technician works as a bus driver as an additional job

People who work multiple jobs to make ends meet always have my genuine respect. It’s hard when you’re trying to put food on the table and don’t know how you’ll come up with money before you get your next paycheck. When my wife and I had our first child, I wasn’t making nearly as much money as we needed for the baby. I immediately started doing side work on the weekends as a software programmer. I never had a day off, but I was managing to make enough money so all three of us could survive. You feel incredibly grateful and relieved when you work your way out of a tough situation like this. I was lucky to secure a better job that increased my salary by 40%. No longer was I forced to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. My heating and cooling technician is currently working two separate jobs to get by every month. He’s an HVAC repairman during the morning and afternoon hours, but he’s officially a city bus driver after 4pm. I can’t imagine how exhausted he must feel when he gets home every night. On top of that, if he’s getting to his HVAC job by 8am every morning, he barely has any time outside of sleeping in between both jobs. I pray that my heating and cooling technician gets a raise or a better job so he isn’t working himself to death like this. I understand the position that he’s in and I know how draining it feels on a day by day basis.
